βJoin us for the Muslim Wellness Center Counseling Program Launch Weekend, a series of community events celebrating the launch of a new initiative dedicated to making trusted, Islamically aligned mental health care more accessible to the Atlanta Muslim community.
βIn partnership with Ruh Care, the Muslim Wellness Center Counselling Program connects individuals, couples, children, and families with licensed Muslim therapists who provide compassionate, culturally responsive care, rooted in both sound clinical practice and our shared Islamic values.
βThroughout the weekend, we'll come together for a special Jumu'ah khutbah, an evening Friday Family Night community workshop, and a dedicated Teen mental health session designed to inspire reflection, encourage meaningful conversations around mental wellbeing, and introduce trusted resources available to our community.
βCaring for our emotional and mental wellbeing has a meaningful place within our faith, yet many Muslims are unsure where to turn when life becomes overwhelming. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, strengthening family relationships, or simply looking to deepen your understanding of mental wellbeing through an Islamic lens, we warmly invite you to join us throughout this special launch weekend.
ββ¨About the Events
βThe weekend begins with a special Jumu'ah khutbah delivered by Br. Faizan Majid, exploring the Islamic foundations of emotional and spiritual wellbeing. On Friday evening, join us for dinner followed by Healing with Faith, an engaging community conversation exploring mental health through an Islamic lens and reflecting on how faith, resilience, and trusted support can come together to promote healing and wellbeing.
βThe evening will also mark the official launch of the Muslim Wellness Center Counseling Program, introducing a new resource available to Muslims throughout the greater Atlanta area.
βThe launch weekend continues on Saturday with a dedicated Teen Mental Health Workshop, creating a space for young people to explore mental wellbeing, resilience, bullying, and navigating the unique challenges of adolescence.
