No Pasarán! brings together community organisations, artists, young people, changemakers and engaged citizens for a day of remembrance, dialogue, culture and community.

The event honours the legacy of Kerwin Lucas Duinmeijer, whose murder in 1983 became a catalyst for anti-racism activism in the Netherlands. Organised by Comité 21 Maart in collaboration with a wide range of partners, including the Mama Baranka Foundation and many other community organisations.

Participants gather at Dam Square to reflect on contemporary challenges and the importance of standing up for equality, justice and democracy.

15:30 – 16:30 March from Dam Square to Vondelpark

A collective walk through Amsterdam bringing together individuals, communities and organisations from across the Netherlands.

16:30 – 18:00 Commemoration of Kerwin Lucas Duinmeijer

A remembrance ceremony at the Mama Baranka Monument in Vondelpark, honouring the life and legacy of Kerwin Lucas Duinmeijer and reflecting on the continued importance of inclusion and solidarity.

18:00 – 21:00 No Pasarán! Protestival
