Breathwork in Astoria | with Cassie Ray
TUESDAY NIGHT BREATHWORK | ASTORIA
Breathwork • Meditation • Community
Tuesday, November 3 | Doors open 6:45 PM • Breathwork begins 7:00 PM
Rocco Moretto VFW Post 2348 | Astoria, Queens
Join Cassie Ray for an evening of breathwork, meditation, and community in the heart of Astoria.
Together, we'll explore circular breathwork, a continuous, rhythmic breathing practice done lying down to music, inviting us to move beyond the thinking mind and into the deeper terrain of the body.
Through conscious, connected breathing, music, metaphor, and imagination, we'll explore shifts in awareness, sensation, and perception.
Some people experience deep relaxation, emotional release, creative "aha's", clarity, or a renewed sense of connection. Every experience is different, and there's nothing particular you need to achieve.
Our 40-minute guided breathing journey will be followed by rest, meditation, and time to integrate.
New to breathwork? You're in the right place. Cassie will guide you through the entire practice, and you're always welcome to slow down, return to your natural breath, or simply rest whenever you need.
At the heart of Cassie's teaching is the belief that yoga is a practice of self-empowerment and self-responsibility. You're encouraged to listen to your body, honor your own experience, and move through the practice at a pace that feels right for you.
We're transforming our spacious, neighborhood VFW hall into a cozy, candlelit gathering place, with room to breathe, rest, reflect, and connect. A little sanctuary in the middle of our busy lives.
