Local Connection: The Grand Army Gazette Is Hosting a Singles Mixer
Single in the neighborhood? Join us for the Grand Army Gazette’s first singles mixer at Vaux Social on Wednesday, November 18, from 7:00–9:00 p.m.
We’re bringing local singles together in the hope that your next connection has been just a few blocks away all along. Come for drinks and to chat about your favorite neighborhood spots—you might just meet your forever plus-one to the farmers market.
Join us on your own or bring a single friend—everyone just needs to subscribe to the Gazette and register separately.
Tickets are $18 and include one drink: draft beer, rosé, prosecco, a “Vauxtail” happy-hour cocktail, mocktail, or soft drink. Additional drinks and food will be available to purchase, and you’re welcome to stick around after the mixer.
Space is limited, and this event is exclusively for Grand Army Gazette subscribers. Please register using your subscription email so we can confirm your spot.
A special thank-you to The Vaux on Vanderbilt Avenue for hosting our get-together! The neighborhood spot recently expanded its hours, with happy hour starting at 3 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and weekend brunch beginning at 10 a.m.
The Vaux’s new hours:
Wednesday–Friday: 3–10 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.–10 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
