Speakers: Researchers
Yanzhe Chen, National University of Singapore / NUS Show Lab
Paper: Code2Video: A Code-centric Paradigm for Educational Video Creation
Yanzhe is the first author and ICML poster presenter for Code2Video, which explores how AI can turn code into educational videos and create clearer learning materials from code-centered content.
Zachary Pardos, UC Berkeley
Project: Open Adaptive Tutor
Zachary is an Associate Professor of Education at UC Berkeley working on adaptive learning and AI. He will introduce Open Adaptive Tutor, an open-source adaptive tutoring system from UC Berkeley’s Computational Approaches to Human Learning lab.
Tom Sühr, Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems
Tom Sühr is a doctoral student at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems studying AI evaluation, and he will introduce a human-education perspective on how we should measure whether AI tools improve learning.
Speakers: Builders / Founders
Sungman Cho, Founder at Origin Layer
Sungman previously worked at Intel and is now building an AI-native game for kids. He is hosting this gathering to connect researchers and builders in AI education.
YoungHoon Jeon, Part Lead at Upstage AI Education Learning Design
YoungHoon Jeon leads AI education and learning design at Upstage. She will share how generative AI is being translated into practical learning programs for students and professionals.
JQ Lee, Dev Team Lead at ZEP
JQ leads development for ZEP QUIZ, a gamified classroom platform with 4M MAU and 600,000+ new quizzes created monthly. He will share how ZEP is building a deterministic AI question-generation system.
Eu-Bin Kim, Founder at Cylinder
Eu-Bin, who studied at Oxford, is building Purple, a reverse dictionary for phrases that helps writers find natural expressions and expands through user interaction.
