The goal is to bring together people working on practical and research-level questions around AI x Education.

We welcome researchers, builders, educators, evaluators, and anyone working on or studying AI for education.

Paper: Code2Video: A Code-centric Paradigm for Educational Video Creation

Yanzhe is the first author and ICML poster presenter for Code2Video, which explores how AI can turn code into educational videos and create clearer learning materials from code-centered content.

Zachary Pardos, UC Berkeley

Project: Open Adaptive Tutor

Zachary is an Associate Professor of Education at UC Berkeley working on adaptive learning and AI. He will introduce Open Adaptive Tutor, an open-source adaptive tutoring system from UC Berkeley’s Computational Approaches to Human Learning lab.

Sungman Cho, Founder at Origin Layer

Sungman previously worked at Intel and is now building an AI-native game for kids. He is hosting this gathering to connect researchers and builders in AI education.

YoungHoon Jeon, Part Lead at Upstage AI Education Learning Design

YoungHoon Jeon leads AI education and learning design at Upstage. She will share how generative AI is being translated into practical learning programs for students and professionals.

JQ Lee, Dev Team Lead at ZEP

JQ leads development for ZEP QUIZ, a gamified classroom platform with 4M MAU and 600,000+ new quizzes created monthly. He will share how ZEP is building a deterministic AI question-generation system.

Eu-Bin Kim, Founder at Cylinder

Eu-Bin, who studied at Oxford, is building Purple, a reverse dictionary for phrases that helps writers find natural expressions and expands through user interaction.
