Hello Everyone,
For May we are switching back to the Eastside and going to Noon Cafe in Kirkland (Totem Lake).
One of the most global events is coming soon to Seattle in the form of the soccer or football World Cup, where Seattle will host games for the USMNT, Belgium, Egypt, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and IR Iran. Feel free to come dressed with the shirt of the national team you support.
As a topic of conversation, and taking inspiration from recent events https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/mar/30/air-canada-ceo-resignation, you are encouraged to share stories where the work of the localization team avoided, or actually created, issues for the company or organization.
