Called to Relationship
Dating, Love, and the Spiritual Battle for Our Relationships
Speaker: Ed Hopfner
Director of Marriage and Family Life - Archdiocese of San Francisco
What does the devil have to do with dating and relationships? More than you might think.
Join us for Called to Relationship, a candid and practical conversation about dating, relationships, marriage, and the spiritual battle for love and family.
The devil wants to distort love, undermine relationships, and pull us away from our call to marriage and family life. How can we recognize these attacks and respond with faith, wisdom, and the teachings of the Catholic Church?
Come hear practical advice for young adults navigating dating, discernment, relationships, and the call to love as Christ intended.
Pre-Event Reception: 6:30–7:00 PM during check-in
Panelist Discussion:
Paul Campa- Director of Evangelization & Stewardship, Office of Evangelization

Most of us learned to pray, receive the sacraments, and help out at the parish. And without ever quite deciding to, we can begin to act as if holiness, faithfully pursued, will overflow into mission on its own. Often it doesn't. Piety and devotion stay in one compartment; work, social life, even family life remain in another. And "helping the Church" stays a good intention, or worse, becomes a box already checked by tithing and volunteer hours. The invitation is not simply to do more for the Church, but to let faith shape the lives we are actually building, from our work and friendships to dating, marriage, and family.
