About Gary:
Gary is a partner in the San Francisco office who invests in healthcare services and products. He represents Polaris on the boards of Faro Health, Indomo, RightSite Health, Livara Health, SimplyInsured, and Quantcast and also works with Foresight Mental Health, FloQast, Wellthy, UpDoc, and Novi.
Previously, Gary was the CEO of oDesk (NASDAQ; UPWK). He guided the company to industry leadership through a merger with Elance while serving as a leading voice for remote work and marketplaces. Before oDesk, Gary was the Chief Revenue Officer for Intellibank. Before Intellibank, he was a business unit executive at IBM. Gary joined IBM after the acquisition of Rational Software, where he held several senior management positions. Before Rational, he held several sales, management, and leadership positions with Pure Software.
