Soft Landing Circle: Friends with Fall ๐
โMaking the colder months feel a little more like yours.
โAutumn in Hungary comes with mixed feelings - some are excited for the temperature to drop, the nature to pop in yellow-orange-brown-red colors and for their favorite autumn routines to return; while some dread the shorter days, less sunlight, and more time indoors - and the knowledge that there are quite a few grey months ahead. (Okay, I think we all dread that.)
โAnd living away from home can add another layer to it.
โ๐ Maybe autumn in Hungary feels completely different from the season you grew up with.
๐ Maybe you miss certain foods, traditions, weather or little rituals from home.
๐ Maybe your energy changes noticeably when the days get shorter.
๐ Or maybe you're simply wondering how to make the coming months feel a little less grey.
โFriends with Fall is a cosy Soft Landing Circle about finding our own way into the new season - whether you already love autumn or would happily skip straight to spring.
โWeโll talk about how seasons affect us, what we carry with us from the places we come from, and what helps us feel more like ourselves when our environment and routines start to change.
โAnd, most importantly, weโll borrow ideas from each other for making the months ahead feel more colorful, connected and ours.
โ๐ What will we explore?
โThrough individual reflection, pairs, small-group conversations and shared idea collecting, weโll explore questions like:
โWhat does autumn mean to me - and where might that come from?
โHow were the colder months experienced where I grew up? (If there were any. ๐)
โWhat tends to change in my energy, mood or routines when the seasons change?
โWhat do I want more of this autumn: comfort, movement, connection, nature, novelty, rest?
โWhat small rituals, places, activities and plans could make the coming months feel better?
โThis isnโt about convincing ourselves that everything is wonderful because there are pumpkin-spiced drinks and colorful leaves. ๐
โItโs about noticing what we actually need - and finding small, realistic ways to bring more of it into our lives.
โ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ How does it work?
โThe Circle will be gently facilitated, but spacious.
โYou donโt need to prepare anything and you can absolutely come alone - most women join Soft Landing events on their own.
โThere will be time to reflect individually, talk in pairs and smaller groups, hear different perspectives, and collect ideas together.
โEnough structure so you donโt have to figure out how to start conversations from scratch - with enough space for those conversations to actually go somewhere.

โAbout Soft Landing Budapest
โ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐คโ๐ฉ๐ป Meet the host
โHi there! ๐๐ป My name is Anna and I am your host at Soft Landing Budapest. I was born and raised in Hungary but I've always felt pretty international at heart. My first move abroad was at 19, a summer job at Disneyland
โParis. Later came France again, the US, and the Netherlands, then a job in Hungary that took me to more than ten countries across continents.
โAs a trainer and facilitator I love bringing people together, and with good questions, a safe environment and spot-on exercises help them have some valuable reflections and new perspectives.
โAt the events it's important for me that everyone can come as they are - uncertain, exhausted, cheerful, curious, anxious -, and that we all respect each other so we feel safe, heard and seen.
