Breakfast Club | Making AI Work for People
HR has quietly become one of the most important AI roles in the company.
First, there's how to apply it within the People function - automating workflows, rethinking recruiting, performance, onboarding, and employee support.
Then there's the larger remit: helping the rest of the organisation adopt AI well. Setting policy, shaping culture, building literacy, and partnering with tech & exec teams to make adoption stick.
And underneath both: a suite of new, challenging questions about what hiring, skills, and careers look like in a company where AI does meaningful work alongside everyone.
So, we're hosting a breakfast for a select group of senior People leaders at leading UK scale-ups to compare notes on what's working, what isn't, and where the function goes from here.

Here's what past attendees have to say:
"Great event - good size, enough people to have diverse conversations but a small enough group for proper dialogue! Interesting speakers and attendees. Venue was fab too." - Claire Samson, Dojo
"A rare kind of night: no panels, no pitches, just great People Leaders, amazing food, and real connection. In roles where we're often the ones holding space, this kind of gathering felt like a breath of fresh air." - Bee Karimi, ex. Zoe, Klarna
"Thanks for having us! A wonderful evening with great people and conversations!" - Lucy Atkinson, People Operations Lead, Wise
