Lo-Fi Oyster Co. and Local Economy Present Tide Tables, Ambient Jazz and Bay Science

​“Tide Tables” is a special series presented in collaboration with Lo-Fi Oyster Co. Each event combines ambient jazz with conversations about the Bay water, climate, and food systems.

​For this edition, we'll be joined by Dream Crease, the solo project of Marina Aguerre, a Los Angeles producer and multi-instrumentalist known for her work with Teal Pop, Spaceface, and Dumbo Gets Mad. Drawing from otherworldly visions, recurring dream landscapes, and the natural world at her fingertips, Aguerre brings us a new realm of fantasy ambient on her second full length album.

​Dream Crease will be joined by landscape architect Karen Verpeet, managing director of the Resilient Landscapes Program at the San Francisco Estuary Institute. SFEI is a wildly interdisciplinary Bay Area institution that's dedicated to advancing "visionary science that empowers people to revitalize nature."

​There'll be some light snacks and wine (no oysters, tho)!
