Got a bike that needs a little love—or just curious about Oslo's community bike workshop? Come hang out at Sykkelkjøkkenet! 🚲
Sykkelkjøkkenet Oslo is a community organization where people can get free help fixing and tuning their bikes and use the workshop's tools during twice-weekly Open Shop hours. They also run affordable bike repair workshops, powered by a welcoming and international community of volunteers.
For Welcome Week, we're turning our usual Open Shop into a bit of an open house.
Bring your bike and get some free assistance fixing or tuning it up, or simply stop by to check out the workshop, listen to music, have some snacks and drinks, and meet the people behind the community.
You don't need to have a bike or anything that needs fixing to join! This is also a chance to learn how Sykkelkjøkkenet works, ask bike-related questions, or find out how you can get involved as a volunteer.
The event is completely free, and our team is ready to chat with you in English or Norwegian!
