Miro Canvas'26 Watch Party #1 : Kolkata Chapter
What is this event about?
Miro Canvas'26 Watch Party #1 : Kolkata Chapter is a collaborative hackathon experience designed for developers, designers, AI enthusiasts and innovators who want to transform ideas into real working prototypes within a limited time frame. Participants will brainstorm, build, collaborate, and finally present both their idea and functional implementation before the final judging session. The event is focused on rapid execution, visual collaboration, creative storytelling, and practical innovation powered through Miro.
When is the event happening?
The hackathon will officially begin on 19 June 2026 and will continue until 20 June 2026 at 2:00 PM. Participants are expected to utilize the complete duration for ideation, development, testing, collaboration, and presentation preparation.
What are the available tracks?
Projects can be developed under multiple innovation tracks including :
Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare
Artificial Intelligence in Education
Artificial Intelligence in Developer Tools
Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security

Are pre-built projects allowed?
No. Every submission must be freshly built during the official hackathon timeline. Existing startup products, reused hackathon projects, heavily pre-developed systems, or previously showcased implementations will not be accepted during evaluation.
Is Miro usage mandatory?
Yes. Usage of Miro for presentation and idea presentation is mandatory for all participants. Teams are expected to use Miro for brainstorming, architecture planning, workflow visualization, collaborative discussions, presentation design, or storytelling during their final demo session.
Does integrating Miro provide additional benefits?
Yes. Projects that creatively integrate or meaningfully utilize Miro within the actual workflow, product logic, collaboration mechanism, or user experience will receive additional evaluation credits during judging. A dedicated recognition will also be provided to the Best Miro-Powered Project of the hackathon.
Who can participate?
The event is open to students, developers, designers, AI engineers, creators, researchers, cybersecurity enthusiasts, Web3 builders, and anyone passionate about innovation and collaborative problem-solving. Participants may join individually or as teams.
What are the prizes and perks for participants?
The hackathon features exciting cash prizes for the top three winning teams, along with special recognition for the Best Miro-Powered Project. Apart from the competitive rewards, every registered attendee will receive exclusive event swags specially designed for the Miro Canvas'26 Watch Party #1 : Kolkata Chapter. What should participants bring?
Participants should carry their laptops, chargers, required development resources, APIs, accounts, datasets, and any tools necessary for implementation. Most importantly, participants should come prepared with creativity, adaptability, and a strong builder mindset.
Will food and refreshments be provided?
Yes. Food and drinks will be fully provided for participants throughout both days of the event to ensure a comfortable and uninterrupted building experience. Participants will have access to refreshments and meals during the hackathon duration. However, overnight stay at the venue is not required, and participants can continue their work remotely for certain durations.
