Moco DSA: Ice Cream Social Gaithersburg

​Join MoCo DSA for an ice cream social on Monday, August 17, 2026 from 6:30PM-8:30PM at Bruster's Ice Cream in Gaithersburg! We like to emphasize that this is a casual event and you can feel free to drop by anytime between 6:30 and 8:30 and stay for as long or briefly as you like. If you've never been, Bruster's is outdoor with some seating but we'll likely hang out in the parking lot tailgate style- bring a camp chair if you have one!

​New members, prospective members and DSA curious folks are all welcome! Whether you're looking to get burning questions about DSA answered, get plugged into a working group or just hangout, chat and make some friends- we hope to see you. After all, socialism should be social!

While there is plenty of free parking, Bruster's is unfortunately not walking distance from any Metro Stations. You can take the free Ride On 55 Bus to Travis Avenue to get there or reach out if you plan to metro and we can do our best to arrange for a comrade to pick you up from Shady Grove Station.
