Techgnosis Collective Online Gathering
The Act of Creation is Inherently Magical
The Techgnosis Collective is an open international network of artists, researchers, and thinkers exploring the intersection of technology, spirituality, and the human experience. Our work spans workshops, retreats, and community gatherings for critical conversations about digital well-being, creative autonomy, and our place in a ‘more-than-human world’.
This Community Gathering continues our exploration of the Techgnosis Manifesto, focusing on the principle:
"The Act of Creation is Inherently Magical."
In a world increasingly defined by algorithms and automation, human creativity remains a sacred act. It bridges the mundane and the transcendent — a pathway through which imagination transforms into reality. To create is to breathe life into something new, to participate in a timeless ritual that affirms the magic of being human.
Yet, as digital technologies blur the line between artist and machine, we are prompted to ask: What does creativity mean in an age of automation? And how can we safeguard this essential element of human experience, while also exploring its integration into contemporary spiritual and technological practices?
This month, we explore how digital technologies can reveal spiritual and mythological dimensions, and how they can serve as tools, rather than replacements, for our creative spirit.
What to Expect
Introduction to the Techgnosis Collective – Learn more about our mission and how to get involved.
Guided Meditation – A practice to ground ourselves and reconnect with our bodies.
Open Discussion – A reflective conversation inspired by our latest newsletter. We will explore the act of creation (in the broadest sence)
This is an open, welcoming space for anyone to engage in meaningful virtual connection and discussion. Whether you're new to the Techgnosis Collective or a returning participant, we’d love to have you with us. Feel free to bring any particular book references or thoughts on this topic to discuss. We would recommend (if you can) taking a walk in a nearby park before hand, without listening to music or a podcast, and being totally present with your surroundings and notice how you feel.
