The Mullet celebrates MyMoonEXP a lunar archive of rock history, memorabilia, and historic contributions to the sphere of the entertainment industry through the lens of Scott Page’s life experiences now immortalized on-chain through the Bitcoin Ordinals protocol. The archive currently resides in a billion-year time capsule, on the surface of the Moon within the Odysseus lunar lander, which landed on February 22, 2024.
Each Mullet art piece is a limited series living time capsule of Scott’s life, an anthology of art, puzzles, and media that generates ongoing derivative assets. A mosaic comprising images spanning Scott’s Web3 contributions with projects like Synthtopia and across his musical career with Pink Floyd, Supertramp, and Toto, as well as his offerings to the entertainment industry.
As both physical and digital art pieces, each iteration of The Mullet represents a bold iconic era of entertainment history, personified by Scott’s unique look and expressed in a dynamic compilation of images. As a piece of technology, each version of The Mullet is a fractionalized art piece diversified across a series of digital assets, each tied to the individual photos that form the composite.
Pop-art-oriented Los Angeles-based artist, Braydon Bugazzi, breathes distinct life into the first physical edition mixed medium Mullet painting, the Golden Mullet, to be unveiled on July 26th at Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee a master mosaic of the entire MyMoonEXP collection. Showcased within alongside Golden Mullet are art pieces from the RockMoney Collection by Arthur J. Williams, iconic art featuring Scott by Ori Bengal, derivative physical and digital works by REMO, paintings from Madeline Claire, and more.
Further editions of The Mullet will be released sequentially. The Music Mullet which contains all live performances and behind-the-scenes VIP experiences. The Monolith Mullet which contains all of Scott's early contributions to the entertainment industry. The Multiplayer Mullet showcases the gaming software built by Scott’s company 7th Level and produced in partnership with Quincy Jones’ QDE7. The Museum Mullet encompasses all artistic contributions from friends of Scott and much more.
The 7,000 images featured in the Golden Mullet, the master compilation of the collection, will all be mintable NFTs. These will become available through a whitelist and public phase minting event to be held on a date following the first auction of the physical Golden Mullet painting by Braydon Bugazzi.
Collecting digital and physical assets in Scott’s Mullet collection imparts more than just the reward of owning a piece of history. Each asset holder will gain access to exclusive derivative rewards, including additional digital art iterated from the collection and artists showcased by Page. The first derivative will be a special edition asset created in collaboration with the soldout Synthtopia NFT collection which Scott co-founded alongside Christof ____.
