Dissolving Disciplines: Product, Engineering, Data & Design After AI
Where does product end, engineering and data begin, and design fit when AI provides so much of the connective tissue?
Product, engineering, data and design used to operate as distinct functions with relatively clear boundaries, responsibilities and hiring profiles. AI tooling is rapidly changing that reality.
For senior leaders responsible for hiring, structuring and scaling teams, the implications are no longer theoretical. They are now operational.
This event brings together a carefully curated group of senior Product, Engineering, and Design leaders from VC and PE-backed businesses for a candid working discussion on how AI is reshaping team design, hiring strategy, organisational structure, and compensation.
The conversation will focus on the practical questions leadership teams are actively navigating today:
How high-growth companies are restructuring teams around AI-enabled workflows
Whether businesses should hire fewer, more cross-functional senior operators
What exceptional leadership now looks like across product, engineering, data and design
How teams are adapting their roles, remits and ways of working (who owns what)
How human judgment, intuition and critical thinking are more important than ever
This session is designed to create space for those conversations in a senior, peer-led environment grounded in lived operational experience rather than theory.
The evening will feature a cross-functional panel discussion, facilitated table conversations and networking with leaders actively building and evolving teams through the next stage of growth.
This session will feature an expert panel including:
