​ Unlock Your IP as Capital: Valuation & Financing Across ASEAN and China

​This seminar brings together intellectual property (IP) professionals from across ASEAN to explore the latest guidelines on IP valuation and their practical applications. IP-rich businesses across ASEAN and China are transforming intangible assets into bankable capital. The seminar will leave you with a clear playbook for treating your IP portfolio as a strategic financial asset, not another line item.

​Mr Tan Kong Hwee, CE of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), will address the seminar, followed by a presentation from Mr Michael Kos, IP Finance & Valuation Expert (remotely) and Ms Thitapha, Director, and both from the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). Dr Sze Tiam Lin, Senior Licensing Advisor, Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Singapore Management University (SMU), will share on unlocking your IP for commercialisation.

​This is followed by a Panel discussion chaired by Dr Eugene Ho, Director of Research and IP at Mengniu Dairy, China, and President of the IPOS Society. We will also hear from, amongst others, Mr Ken Fong, Head of Commercial, Patsnap, a global IP research & innovation intelligence company and Ms Christine Ng, Director of IP Valuation, Adastra IP (M) Sdn Bhd, who was involved in a recent IP valuation project with WIPO in Malaysia.
