Draft our Community Agreements [Finesse + Finalize]

​We are putting pen to paper and drafing our Community Agreements. After months of listening sessions and community brainstorming, we are ready to sit down and define how we are committed to showing up together when we are engaging with Queens Collaborative.

​Join us for this drafting session, where we will put the finishing touches on our Community Agreements so they are words we all can live by. When you RSVP for this event, we will send you the notes so you can review what has been discussed so far.

​Community Agreements help to articulate what we expect of each other and how we navigate accountability so that, together, we can support everyone who wants to access their creativity with us. We all know what it feels like to be nurtured in a welcoming, supportive space, and we look forward to drafting agreements that make this possible together.

​This is the second of two sessions focused on drafting our Community Agreements. The first session is on Monday, November 9th. You are welcome to join for both sessions, if you are available. Please know this session will be focused on finalizing our thoughts.

​This event will happen both at The Collaboratory and virtually on Zoom.

​HOW TO FIND US

​Our studio is located at 21-07 41st Avenue. When you get to the building, please use the intercom to the left of the door to find The Collaboratory or 213 in the directory. We will answer your call and buzz you in remotely.

Once inside, you can take the elevator to Floor 2 and find us in Studio 213.

​​MASK REMINDER

​As part of our commitment to accessibility, face masks are required during public events at The Collaboratory. Three air purifiers are also running at all times in our space. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have KN-95 and KF-94 masks available at the door.

If you're not feeling well or have reason to believe you've been exposed to illness, we encourage you to stay home.
