From Excel to Agents: How finance teams work with Claude
Building Your Finance Operating System with Claude
Every finance team knows the feeling: the close comes around, and the same manual, repetitive tasks eat up days that should go to analysis, planning, and actually advising the business. AI agents are changing that, and finance teams can start today.
Join Francis for a breakfast morning on how finance teams can use Claude to build their own finance operating system: a connected setup of data, systems, and agents that takes over the most repetitive, low-value work, so your team can focus on the work that matters.
This isn't a session about AI hype or what might be possible in five years. You'll hear from two finance leaders who are already doing it. One will show you the foundations finance teams need to put in place before agents can safely become part of daily work. The other will build a real finance workflow live in Claude, so you can go home and repeat it yourself.
Who should attend
This event is for CFOs, Heads of Finance, and finance leaders who want to understand how AI and agents fit into their team's way of working, and who want to leave with something concrete they can put to use right away. Seats are limited to keep the session small and interactive.

The speakers
William Pontoppidan, Co-founder & CEO @ Francis
Besides leading Francis as CEO, William runs all of the company's internal finances himself, using Claude skills and agents to take over the most repetitive parts of the monthly close.
In his talk, William will explore what finance teams can learn from the principles of software engineering. Software teams have long relied on a structured, version-controlled way of working, where every change is tracked, reviewed, and safe to roll back. William will share his vision for a future where finance teams work in a similar way, built around a simple Git model, and why that structure is what makes it possible to safely deploy agents as part of day-to-day finance work.
Andreas Pagh Glenvig, CFO & Board Member @ SYBO Games
Andreas is CFO at SYBO Games, the Copenhagen studio behind Subway Surfers, the most downloaded game in the world. He has quickly become one of the leading voices on building AI-native finance functions, and at SYBO he is building what he calls FinanceOS: a layer that connects the team's data, systems, and workflows, from HR and headcount data to budgets, forecasts, the ERP, and the data warehouse, and gradually builds AI directly into how finance works.
Rather than buying another tool for every task, the idea is to own the layer that ties existing systems together and defines how the team works. In his session, Andreas will show a concrete finance workflow live in Claude Cowork, including how to build a skill for repetitive tasks and how to use connectors to bring your own systems into the workflow.
