Demos Anon #6
Welcome to Demos Anon #6, our first session after summer hiatus. A meet-up for builders and doers in London. Pizza, drinks, and 3 X 7-minute demos of whatever you're working on - side projects, research, hardware hacks, startup tech, weird experiments. Work in progress is very much encouraged.
* spaces are very limited - 20-30 highly-selective people only.
Demoers:
- Yuchen - Building Ventrix, scaling modular carbon capture through existing infrastructures.
- Henry Allen - Search your network and recruit for anyone autonomously.
- Joshua Corbett - Using computational methods to design nanoparticles that deliver paclitaxel to glioblastoma tumours.
Demos Anon London (https://www.demoslondon.com) is the sister community of Demos Anon Dublin, which has been running for 2.5 years and 50+ sessions strong. In Dublin, past demos have ranged from at-home stroke risk monitoring hardware (NeuroSonic), to classifying the coldest exoplanets using James Webb Space Telescope data, to building a brain-computer interface, to a coin-sized swim timer designed to mount inside goggles, to toolpath generation methods for 3D printing. The thread that connects it all: people who build things showing other people who build things what they're obsessed with.
This is our first session back in collab with Pillar VC, who are running Encode: AI for Science Fellowship. Come hang out, meet some cool people, and maybe sign up to demo something at a future session.
Free to attend. Pizza and drinks are covered.
