London Lunch: Which Wall Are You Facing? L&D Maturity with David James
Your programmes are popular, onboarding lands, compliance is covered, and the feedback is great. So why does it still feel so hard to get L&D seen as a strategic partner?
360Learning’s new State of L&D Maturity report has some answers. It’s based on more than 1,000 L&D teams who’ve taken the Maturity Model assessment, and it found that:
85% of L&D teams sit at Level 2 or 3 out of 5. Only around one in ten reaches the levels where L&D clearly drives business outcomes. The report calls this the Proactive Plateau.
One score hides the real story. 61% of teams have a gap of two or more levels between their strongest and weakest areas.
There are two walls, not one. Getting from Level 2 to Level 3 is about strategy and leadership alignment. Getting from Level 3 to Level 4 is about proving impact. Teams that can measure impact score 1.41 levels higher overall.
Join us for lunch with David James, Chief Learning Officer at 360Learning and author of the report, for an open conversation about what these findings mean for your team.
This isn’t a presentation. It’s a conversation over lunch, and we’ll be digging into questions like:
Which wall is your team up against right now?
Is one maturity “score” really telling you the full story?
How do you go from leadership approving your strategy to actively backing it?
What does proving impact look like in practice?
Who it’s for: L&D and talent leaders and practitioners at any stage. Wherever your team is today, you’re building on a foundation.
Before you come: take the updated L&D Maturity Model assessment, which now includes new themes on AI adoption and line manager involvement, so you arrive knowing where your team stands: https://360learning.com/maturity-model/
