Wildflower Hike in the East Bay
Join Princeton Women of Northern California for a springtime wildflower hike in the East Bay. We’ll spend the morning walking, talking, and enjoying the seasonal blooms as they peak.
This 4.7 mile route (750’ gain) will head out Old Briones Rd, turn right on Briones Crest trail, then right again to descend on Valley trail, returning for a final mile on Old Briones. All are wide fire roads, but parts are steep and uneven.
Folks wanting an easier hike could do one of two out-and-backs: 1. Walk just the first relatively flat mile out to where the trail starts to climb, then return to parking lot, or 2. Do the same but continue to the junction with Briones Crest, which has a lovely view of two valleys.
NOTE: no water or bathrooms at the trailhead!
Come soak up spring, stretch your legs, and enjoy some time outdoors with fellow Princeton women.
Location: Briones! Here's a link to the parking lot: https://maps.app.goo.gl/5zaMaFTxE55GHmTm8?g_st=ic
Leashed dogs only.
