Virtual Campfire with Changemakers: She Didn't Wait
βVirtual Campfire with Changemakers is back! π₯
βJoin us for Virtual Campfire with Changemakers, our monthly online gathering where we come together beyond borders to spark meaningful conversations, share stories, and ignite change. Each month, host Carmen Chan, Founder of Girls Be Change, brings together a small circle of people from around the world to explore what changemaking really looks like β up close, personal, and honest.
βThis year, we're doing something a little different.
βThe spotlight shifts to you.
βOur theme is "She Didn't Wait." This session, every participant is invited to arrive with a story β a woman or girl you personally know, read about, or witnessed who didn't wait for perfect conditions or someone else's approval to make change happen.
βJoining Carmen for this gathering are Rebeca Cabezas, an environmental lawyer and advocate for Indigenous peoples' rights in the Amazon; and Judith Kansiime, a safe motherhood advocate and public health leader with 15 years of experience championing women's and children's health across Uganda. Our cohosts β Carmen, Rebeca, and Judith β will each kick things off with their own story from the field. Then the floor is yours.
βThis is not a panel. Not a webinar. Not a lecture. It's a circle. Everyone brings wood to the fire.
βCome with a story. Leave with ten more.
βIn order to curate a more engaging experience, we limit each Virtual Campfire session to 10 participants only. The online session will also be recorded.
