About Event

Join Schuylkill Banks and local author Kenneth Frank for a free, guided nature walk on the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia.

Learn about the plants and animals of the trail and its natural and urban history. No experience necessary!

Meet at the footbridge to the Isle of Jean, the wooded island that runs parallel to the Schuylkill River Trail from the Fairmount Dam to Lloyd Hall and the Cosmic Cafe at the beginning of Boathouse Row. The footbridge is at the south end of the island just above the dam. We'll explore the island and then walk south.

Advance registration is not required to attend, but RSVPing helps us to get a sense of how many people are coming. If the walk needs to be rescheduled because of weather, we'll post an announcement here.

For additional questions, please reach out to [email protected].
