👩🏫 EDITOR HOUR: Eimear Ryan, co-founder & editor of Banshee literary journal
** This is a LIVE session and will not be recorded. **
Our Editor Hours are part live editing session, part ask-me-anything. Bring your questions or your work-in-progress and get individualised feedback from an expert editor.
This week, we're joined by Eimear Ryan.
You can submit:
A question about craft, editing, or the publication process.
An excerpt of your work for live editorial feedback (please upload up to 700 words in the Comments below).
If you’d like Eimear to give live feedback on your work, please make sure your submission is within her area of expertise. Eimear is particularly experienced in:
Contemporary literary fiction and memoir
Short stories and personal essays
Writing about sport, performance, and the body
**Please note: Editor Hours are NOT recorded (except for Gold Members who individually request this ahead of time). This enables our guests and you as participants to be as open and honest as possible.**
How it works:
Submit a question (or upload your query letter or pitch, if applicable) for expert feedback in the comments below 👇
Nothing is too broad or too basic, but please ask a question applicable to our guest's area of expertise.
Questions for our guest experts will be answered live over a 60-minute Zoom session. You can ask your questions via the Comments section or live in the room.
🏆 Gold Members get:
🤚 Priority Questions / Feedback: We will prioritize questions from Gold members if submitted in advance in the comment section below.
🎥 Recorded Feedback: These sessions will not be recorded. However, if a Gold Member cannot attend live, they can submit questions or a query letter in advance and receive recorded feedback.
