Run & Reflect Maastricht | Stadspark
How does it feel to run in Maastricht, especially after dark?
Join us for the first Run & Reflect session in Maastricht, a community-led run where we explore the city through the eyes of women and girls who run, walk and move through it.
As the days get shorter, the way we move through the city can change. Do you choose different routes after dark? Do lighting, visibility or other people around you affect where and when you run? And what makes you feel comfortable enough to keep running?
We’ll run a shared local route in a small group and pause at different points along the way to reflect on how the environment feels. What makes a place comfortable and welcoming? Where do you feel less at ease, especially after dark? And what could make running here better?
We’ll look at things like the physical environment, visibility, lighting, traffic, other people around, and the overall running experience. Your experiences and observations help us understand what women need to feel more comfortable and confident running outdoors in Maastricht, both during the day and after dark.
You don’t need to be an expert. We simply want to hear about your experiences.
