The Experience Studio: Understanding Others
Emotional Intelligence Series Part 3: Understanding Others
Focus: Empathy and Organizational Awareness
The leaders who people trust most share something in common: they actually listen. Not only to the words, but they listen deeply to what's underneath them.
This session explores the topics of empathy and organizational awareness with the ability to read what's happening in a room, tune into how people are really feeling, and respond in ways that are attuned to what the moment requires. We'll also look at the bigger picture: the emotional climate of teams, the invisible dynamics that shape group behavior, and how systems carry their own kind of mood.
Through perspective-taking exercises and experiential practice, you'll strengthen your ability to be genuinely present and connected with others at times when they need it most.
The leaders who earn deep trust rarely have more answers. They have more presence.
This session builds on Sessions 1 and 2 in the series, but is still accessible as a standalone session.

Experiencing Emotional Intelligence: A Fall Four-Part Series
This fall, The Experience Studio is offering a four-part series on emotional intelligence, one of the most researched and impactful leadership competency.
Each 2-hour experiential online session focuses on a distinct pillar of emotional intelligence work: knowing yourself, managing yourself, understanding others, and working with others more effectively.
Rooted in a variety of inspiring, research-backed frameworks and delivered through the Experience Studio's signature hands-on experiential approach, this emotional intelligence series builds progressively, yet each session also stands on its own. Join some or join for all four! Either way, you'll leave with something you can actually use and apply in your personal and professional life. We use the term leadership very broadly, so no matter what your role or job description, this series is for you.
