Measure What Matters
Audience: L&D / T&D / HR professionals
Session Type: Working learning laboratory
Purpose: Organizations are under pressure to future-proof performance, yet most leadership development fails to measure what matters: observable behavior change and its impact on business outcomes.
This hands-on lab enables participants to identify and measure the highest-ROI leadership behaviors—those that directly influence engagement, performance, and retention—and track skill mastery over time.
Participants will build, test, and refine a working behavior-to-ROI model in real time. Working in small groups, they will:
Define observable leadership behaviors tied to business priorities
Create simple skill mastery scales and tracking methods
Build data feedback loops linking behavior, culture alignment, and job performance
Pressure-test how improvements in skill mastery impact business outcomes
Using real-world data, participants will see how organizations achieved:
70–83% skill mastery in 28 days
82% consistent behavior adoption
63% job performance improvement
34–40% engagement gains and 25% reduction in turnover
Participants leave with a completed measurement model and ROI narrative tailored to their organization.
