LA Sapphic Social (aka The Rug Munch) - June
Calling all kinky sapphics! Join us for a monthly gathering where we can meet, mingle, and munch (heh) on some yummy food and drinks together. This munch/social is intended to be a casual, friendly, and welcoming environment for kinky sapphic folks to connect with each other, socialize, and bond over shared interests openly and freely. Come hang out with us and make some new friends (or maybe more)!
The venue is a delightful woman-owned sports bar and restaurant in the Silver Lake area. They serve some tasty eats and great drinks for affordable prices. Please support them by buying food and drink if you're able!
Your host Rai (she/her) is a kinky, bisexual, cis woman who LIVES to facilitate connection and build community; she’ll be the one in the unicorn headband, so feel free to come introduce yourself, especially if you’re new and/or nervous! Rai is always happy to make introductions, answer questions, and just generally be a friendly face/presence at the munch.

Who is this munch for? For the purposes of this event, I’m using Yasmine Hamou’s definition of sapphic: “an umbrella term that includes lesbian, bisexual, and pansexual trans femmes, mascs, nonbinary folks, and cis women.” In other words, ANY person who is 1. not a man and 2. is attracted to people who are not men. No one will be checking any membership cards at the door but please respect the space and sit this one out if you know it's not intended for you. I’m ALWAYS more than happy to make recommendations to anyone looking for munches to attend! Please feel free to DM me for those requests.
Is there an age requirement? Yes, this event is strictly 21+ as the venue is a bar. All attendees must show ID to enter. Anyone under 21 will be asked to leave.
Can I play at this event? No. The Rug Munch is a social gathering, NOT a play party, and it is at a public, vanilla venue. No sex, kinky play, or nudity is allowed at this event. Please DO NOT scare the vanillas!
Will there be food? Yes, the venue serves food and it's delish! There are also lots of great places to eat nearby if you prefer to eat somewhere else before or after the munch.
Will there be alcohol/is alcohol allowed? Yes, the venue is a full bar with some really great cocktails and other drinks. Please drink responsibly, and do not over-consume. Attendees who appear to be overly intoxicated may be asked to leave.
I’m sapphic but I’m vanilla. Can I come? Sure! As long as you’re open-minded and respectful of kink/BDSM, and comfortable in an environment where people may be talking about kinky shit.
