The band’s vision is led by Syunn, a former actor and singer-songwriter, whose world is anchored by the solid rhythm of ICHI-SAN (Dr/Cho). The sound is further enriched by the colorful flair of Thai talents Toh (Ba) and Rae (Key), while Ben’s cool and electrifying guitar work completes their one-of-a-kind groove. From the international hub of Chiang Mai, BUNKA NOVA is igniting a new musical movement that transcends all borders.

​Koji Ishikawa shot to fame as the percussionist for the legendary band Tama, known for their 1990 mega-hit “Sayonara Jinrui.” His signature look—a shaved head and a white running shirt—remains an iconic symbol of Japanese subculture.
His musical journey began with a drum found in the trash, and that same free-spirited, nostalgic energy defines his work today. Whether performing solo singer song writer or with the world-renowned ensemble Pascals, Ishikawa continues to captivate audiences with his one-of-a-kind world.

​1990年の大ヒット曲「さよなら人類」で一世を風靡したバンド「たま」のパーカッショニスト。坊主頭に白いランニングシャツのスタイルは、今や世代を超えて愛されるアイコンです。
ゴミ捨て場のスネアドラムから始まった彼の音楽は、自由でいてどこか懐かしく、聴く人を一瞬で独特の世界観へ引き込みます。現在はソロシンガーソングライターほか「パスカルズ」などでも活動する、唯一無二の表現者です。
