The Generosity Roundtable: Capital Region TogetherTuesday Edition
Join us for a hands-on playtest of The Generosity Roundtable, a conversational tabletop experience where nonprofit professionals practice how decisions actually get made — and part of a broader effort to help nonprofits across the Capital Region make the most of GivingTuesday this year.
This session is supported by a grant from GivingTuesday to establish a dedicated Capital Region community, and we're developing free resources in gameplay format to help organizations streamline their GivingTuesday planning. This is the first of what we expect will be an ongoing series of trainings.
You'll step into a small group, take on a character, and work through a real-world scenario tied to volunteer and civic engagement — in celebration of Together Tuesday. No clear answers, no presentations. Just a chance to see how identity and perspective shape decisions in real time, with people who care about building a generous community here in upstate New York.
Snacks and drinks provided. Sober friendly. Come as you are.
Hosted by Tim Sarrantonio, chair of the Fundraising Effectiveness Project and workgroup member of the Alliance for Social Trust.
Bring a friend. RSVP to receive a Character Creator booklet.
