Most founder-investor conversations happen on stage, in a pitch, or with a check on the line. This one doesn't.

FoundHer Circle is a community of early-stage female founders and we're thrilled to be partnering with Oasis Collective on this session. We're bringing together three incredible early-stage investors for a relaxed, founder-led AMA, held under Chatham House Rule. That means everything is shared freely and nothing is attributed. You can ask the questions you actually want answered: what investors really look for, how they read an early team, what's changed about raising, and what they wish more founders understood before they walk in the room.

This is a conversation, not a pitch session. Come with your honest questions. We'll share a few in advance to get things going, and the rest of the hour is yours.

Who you'll be asking

Adela Jamal, General Partner and Co-Founder, Milemark Capital
Adela co-founded Milemark Capital, an early-stage fund backing diverse teams using applied AI to rewrite existing business models. An MIT Sloan MBA and former Executive Director at Sony Pictures, she moved from operating into venture with a clear mission: opening the table to more people. She serves on AllRaise's committee supporting women and non-binary founders and funders, and is a longtime advocate, angel investor, and speaker on women's advancement in tech.

Jenny Fielding, General Partner and Co-Founder, Everywhere Ventures
One of the most active pre-seed investors in the world, Jenny has written the first check into more than 300 companies. Before co-founding Everywhere Ventures (a global pre-seed fund), she spent 7.5 years as Managing Director at Techstars NYC, where the companies she backed now carry a combined market cap in the billions. She's a two-time founder and a lawyer by training, was Head of Digital Ventures at BBC Worldwide, teaches at Columbia and Cornell Tech, and wrote the book Venture Everywhere.

Naomi Goez, Partner, Forum Ventures
Naomi leads pre-seed investments in B2B opportunities, focusing on the physical economy, supply chain, and industrial automation. She's an operator turned investor: she started her career in fashion supply chain, running production and sustainability at Centric Brands. Later, she led GTM at circular economy startup, ClHu, before earning her MBA at Wharton and moving into venture. Named a 2025 Rising Star by Venture Capital Journal, she's a vocal champion of underrepresented founders and runs gatherings like "Pilates & Pitches" for women building companies.

What we'll get into

We're organizing the hour loosely around five threads. A taste:

What's actually changed. What's the single biggest difference between building a company today versus five years ago? What advice that used to be gospel would these GPs now push back on?

The AI and tooling shift. What can a solo founder or a two-person team do today that would have needed a whole department five years ago? Are we truly doing more with less, or just raising the bar on what's expected?

Capital and the funding environment. How has the way you raise, or decide whether to raise at all, actually changed? Is bootstrapping more viable now, or less? And what outcomes are investors actually underwriting when they write a check? We'll walk through the math live.

Where it hits women specifically. Has the funding gap for women really narrowed, or just changed shape? How much of it comes down to business type and pitch style rather than pure bias? And how can women pitch from a position of strength, whether that's offering a fresh lens on a problem or selling into a room that's mostly men?

Looking forward. If you were advising a woman starting her company today, what's the one thing you'd tell her to lean into that didn't even exist five years ago?

A note on spaces

This is an intimate format by design. We keep the group small so the conversation stays honest and everyone can actually be in it, not just watching it. Spaces are limited and registration is reviewed, so please register early. This room is for founders who'll show up ready to ask real questions.

About FoundHer Circle

New to FoundHer Circle? We're a tight-knit community of women founders who understand the early-stage journey firsthand: fundraising, finding PMF, hiring, self-doubt, wins, and everything in between. We keep things purposefully small, with intimate founder-only dinners (mostly in NYC, SF and London to come!) plus virtual sessions like this one so founders elsewhere can join too.

Come to the AMA, stay for the community.
