JVC December Event: Rob Bassin

​Please join us on Tuesday, December 10th at 12p PT via Zoom with speaker, Rob Bassin. Rob Bassin currently serves as the CEO of the AIPAC affiliated Super PAC, United Democracy Project. Rob has had a distinguished career straddling the worlds of politics and government. His career in politics began in 1983 as a Special Assistant in AIPAC’s Political Leadership Development Program. After working on the 1984 Presidential campaign, Rob served as an Associate at Washington Corporate Strategies, where he assumed campaign finance responsibilities for candidates running for both the House and Senate. In 1986, Rob served as a Special Assistant in the U.S. Senate working on legislative issues, including those affecting Israel and the U.S.-Israel relationship. In 1987, Rob founded Bassin Associates, a Washington-based political consulting firm specializing in campaign finance and non-profit fundraising. He spent six years establishing and growing his consulting practice before returning to Capitol Hill, to serve as a Floor Assistant and later Chief of Staff to a member of the House leadership. During his tenure in the House, Rob worked on the floor of the House of Representatives, helping the leadership whip votes coming for consideration before the House. Rob served as AIPAC’s Political Director for over 22 years. He oversaw the political operations of one of Washington’s most influential and respected lobbying organizations. Rob is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York. He is married with two children and lives in Rockville, Maryland.
