TF Builders Series vol. 1 ft. Alex Ma (Meta, ex-Poparazzi)
✨ Introducing TF Builders Series ✨
Where builders, innovators, and problem solvers come together.
We’re kicking off a brand new event series designed especially for engineers, product managers, and the minds driving product development and innovation. This is your space to connect with peers who share your passion for building.
With our star tech recruiter Edmund now on board, TeamFirst is more excited than ever to celebrate the brilliant people behind the code, the products, and the ideas that move industries forward.
💡 And we’re thrilled to announce a special guest: Alex Ma!
Alex is an entrepreneur, operator, and investor based in Tokyo. He’s the founder & former CEO of Poparazzi, the photo-sharing app that hit #1 on the App Store with over 10M downloads and $22M raised from Benchmark, Floodgate, and others. In 2023, his team joined Meta, where Alex now leads Instagram Labs from Tokyo. Since 2024, he’s also been an active angel investor and venture scout for Accel and Abstract, backing 25+ early-stage startups in consumer, AI, and enterprise.
