About Event

This spring, in the immediate aftermath of the local, Scottish and Welsh elections, the UCL Policy Lab’s Ecosystem Project is delighted to be bringing together some of the most influential voices in progressive social change from across the world to ask: how do we move from imagining a better future to actually bringing it about?

Among the brilliant participants answering that question will be Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, who will provide a keynote address.

We will be joined by three of the world’s most celebrated experts on securing social and political change: Hahrie Han and Gary Gerstle from the United States and Amanda Tattersall from Australia.

And the brilliant coalition of community groups on the Nation of Neighbours programme, with Demos and the Lloyds Bank Foundation, will be revealing the story of our country that they have shaped from engagements right across Britain.

Together, we will explore what it takes to build power in a contested political moment, ground our movements in shared values, and forge the practical partnerships that turn ambition into action.

We’d be absolutely delighted if you could join us.
