This is a circle where we take responsibility for our lives, and share our own experiences (truths) with other open minded people.
We call it Circle of Truth because it isn’t an advice circle.
Rather than telling others how they should live, participants are invited to speak from their OWN experience... sharing what they’ve lived, learned, questioned, and discovered through their own personal growth journey.
What it is
The questions come from the participants themselves... whatever people are currently sitting with, questioning, or exploring in their own lives:
Why do you work on yourself? What are you unlearning? What makes a good life? Why do we struggle to say what we really think? What does it actually mean to know another person?
Together, we explore all types of questions through open conversation, different perspectives, personal stories, disagreement, curiosity, and whatever emerges in the circle.
Show up honestly, listen deeply, and be willing to go somewhere beyond small talk

🐒 Primal Play — A social workout, involving multiple disciplines, but using people as your training tool.
🌀 Immersions — half day to multi-day experiences exploring fear, identity, connection, and self-mastery
📵 Offline Gatherings — no phones, no scrolling. We talk, read, play, and stay in the moment

Why it exists
Honestly, professionals deserve to have more fun.
Perfectionism and hustle culture built a lot of what's good in the world. BUT It's also gone too far, and left a lot of us lonely, overworked, and performing a version of ourselves we don't even like.
The Unprofessionals is a community for adults who want more fun, real connection, and something different to do in CDMX.
We create social experiences that give you something different to do than work, scroll, drink, or make small talk.
Started across Asia over 3 years, now growing in CDMX and beyond.

Meet your Host
Samuel Gute is a global citizen (born in the USA), at a young age he moved to China, this dramatically shifted his worldview and perspective on people and society. After moving back to the USA and becoming a franchise business owner, he became depressed, lonely, and dependent on a range of substances. Eventually finding his way back to himself, he found a newfound sense of joy and happiness that he wants to now pour into others.
Once finding his mission, he moved to Vietnam and started the Unprofessionals. Since then growing it for the past 3 years into a global community of 600+ unprofessionals.
