About Event

Climate change isn’t a future threat. It is already changing the conditions in which we live, move and play. Extreme heat, flooding, poor air quality and other climate impacts are disrupting everything from professional competition to a daily run through our neighborhoods.

Hosted by the Global Endurance Collective (GECo) at the Adapt2Win space, this conversation will explore why investing in climate adaptation is essential to protecting our communities and the future of sport.

Featuring 3x NBA Champion and Senator of The Bahamas Rick Fox and former NBA player and global basketball executive Pops Mensah-Bonsu, the discussion will bring together perspectives from professional sport and the running community to examine what it will take to prepare for the climate impacts already here.

Join us for a conversation about what’s at stake for the future of sport and movement, the adaptation solutions already making a difference, and where greater investment is needed to ensure everyone can continue to run, play and compete safely in a changing climate.

Because when the conditions change, we have to adapt to win.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE NEST TO ATTEND. REACH OUT TO GECO FOR A COMPLIMENTARY CODE.
