With Web Summit Vancouver in full swing, what better time to host a bunch of wonderful, smart, gregarious, and tech-loving UBC alum (that's you!) for a rooftop BBQ.
Beautiful setting. Great people. No agenda.
Come wind down from the Web Summit madness amongst fellow Sauder grads, ex-Thunderbirds, local tech leaders and the Claude curious. And, if you're not attending the conference, we’re certain you can still justify some mid-week you time!
Our Baseline rooftop hangs are always an eclectic mix of folks who enjoy great conversation over a burger and beer, debating the merits of our playlist while predicting exactly how AI will impact our lives long-term (Universal Basic Income?).
As per Mount Pleasant rules, spontaneous collaborating is encouraged, and often occurs.

We are a FinTech focussed on B2B payments, embedded payments, and finance automation. We occasionally host fun rooftop parties.
About your host
In a past life, Marc Weber (VP, Business Development at Baseline) was simultaneously a sub-par UBC accounting student while working as communications coordinator for UBC Athletics during the powerhouse early aughts (Go Tbirds!). He claims to have been Hillel House ping pong champion as a freshman in 1996 but no official record exists.
