Ready to soak up summer with fresh blooms and fresh connections? Join us for a Flower Exchange Picnic in Douglass Park.
This event is all about meeting new people in a simple, intentional way. The flower exchange is the spark.
Each time you chat with someone new, you'll exchange one stem. By the end of the event, you'll leave with a beautiful, hand-picked bouquet made up of flowers from everyone you met.
Come solo (most people do!) or with a friend. Everyone is there to connect and leave with something beautiful.

📍 Meeting Spot: We'll all meet up at Monday Coffee Co, then walk over together to find a picnic spot in Douglass Park. Grab a coffee before we head out if you'd like one!
🧺 Picnic Details: This one's BYO. Bring a blanket to sit on and any snacks or drinks you'd like to enjoy throughout.
What to Expect
A relaxed, social outdoor atmosphere centered around conversation and connection. The structure of the flower exchange naturally encourages you to meet multiple new people without it feeling forced.
A host from the Let's Be Friends team will be there to greet you, answer questions, and help make introductions if you'd like support getting started.

Can I come solo? Absolutely. Most attendees come on their own. This event is intentionally designed to make meeting new people feel easy and natural.
Do I have to bring flowers? Yes. Bringing a pack of flowers is required to participate in the exchange.
Where do we meet? We'll gather at Monday Coffee Co first, then walk together to Douglass Park to set up.

Will there be a host? Yes. A host from the Let's Be Friends team will be there to welcome you and help create a warm, social environment.
Are cancellations allowed? If you can no longer attend, please cancel your RSVP so someone else can grab the spot.
