A mid-career workshop for Directors, VPs, and Execs deciding what comes next

In the first half of your career, it's a ladder. You make strategic choices from rung to rung, always asking: "What's the right next move?"

But in the second half of your career, that question only gets you more of the same. Instead, what you need is a platform to build on. Your platform is the specific way your purpose and your voice come together to create change.

In this free workshop, we'll take the first step in building a platform: naming your purpose.

This is a mix of teaching, personal reflection, and some hands-on work—but you'll leave having actually written a purpose statement you can use.

What you'll walk away with:

  1. Your purpose statement — the one sentence that captures the impact you make, and the specific way you go about it.

  2. A fresh story — how it sounds when you speak from that purpose instead of your title or résumé.

  3. A first move — one real decision in front of you right now, named against your purpose statement, live in the session.

This is for you if:

  • You're a senior leader who wants more from the next chapter

  • You want to be known for something, but aren't sure what or how

  • You know you don't want to stay on the path you're on, but you're not sure what replaces it

Workshop led by Elliot Greenberger

Elliot runs Big Decisions Lab, working with Directors, VPs, and Executives navigating their next acts. A Yale MBA, former Senior Director in tech, and someone who found his way through this exact moment by asking new questions. He built this practice because he believes understanding your own purpose—excavating it, saying it out loud, and leading from it—is the whole game. And it’s how the best next chapters begin.
