About The Climate Party
The Climate Party® is building a Scenius - collective genius - for Climate solutions in India.
Climate Parties are a series of immersive learning & ecosystem building events curated to enable interdisciplinary solutionists, either already working in or seriously considering a transition to the Climate space, to discover more of their kind across domains and cross-pollinate ideas for collaborative action.
Our climate parties across 8 cities over the past 2 years have brought together 3,000+ diverse Climate stakeholders, from CXOs to students, and culminated in tangible actions.
About the event
With India’s compliance carbon markets set to become operational this year, businesses are being rallied into real participation. This could mean building projects on ground, buying credits, or accessing carbon finance.
But the reality is messy.
Not all credits are credible.
Not all projects make money.
And not every business should be playing this game.
This edition of Bengaluru Climate Party, curated in collaboration with Intellecap, will focus on unpacking carbon markets for enterprises & financiers. We move beyond surface level conversations to focus on what the carbon markets look like in practice, and where they create real value.
