Sister Love Literary Salon
Join Speculative Literary for our first event of 2026–a Literary Salon. In the style of our Black feminist foremothers, we’re gathering over a common text to discuss, draw connections between our lives, and develop a letter writing practice together. This is a space primarily for Black queer southerners, but anyone willing to respect the space is welcome.
NOTE: please cancel your RSVP if your plans change and you are unable to attend so that we may accept someone off the waitlist. We’re capping the event at 25 folks to keep it intimate.
Housekeeping:
it’s okay if you don’t read the book in time, we’ll read excerpts aloud together.
We’ll open with collective reading followed by discussion, then will have ample writing time.
