The Buddhist Path to the Deathless
This two-day introduction will focus on death from the Buddhist perspective: how to view it, prepare for it, and navigate the reality of death in our day to day lives (as well as lives to come). With direct guidance from an experienced practitioner, students will read from the sutras – the teachings that come directly from the Buddha – from the Sanskrit tradition of Buddhadharma. Additionally, accessible instruction on how to extract deeper meaning from these discourses and texts will be provided. Engaged discussion on how we can apply these teachings in our modern lives will follow. This weekend course is open to those interested with no formal commitment.
In person only. Open to newcomers, no experience required.
