About Event

The University of Cambridge Sustainability Society is excited to announce that we are hosting a panel discussion on climate justice!

We are incredibly honoured to be joined by Tomás Paes de Carvalho (Brazil Director at Equal Right), Dr. Luciana Mendes Barbosa (Lecturer of Sociology of Climate Change, Lancaster University) and Gabriel Neira Voto (Favela Verde Co-Founder and Former President and Guest Lecturer at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership)!

Join our discussion on what it means to advocate with climate justice, the importance of community-led solutions in the midst of state negligence, and to provide a voice for marginalised communities are disproportionately affected by climate related issues.

We look forward to have you join us on Wednesday 18 March!
