Own the Room: A Presentation Workshop for Female Founders & Executives
You’ve got a big idea. But when it’s time to share it with an audience, your hands are shaking, your slides are a mess, and you're pretty sure everyone in the audience thinks you're a fraud!
In this half-day, hands-on workshop, you'll learn the skills that will make you an amazing presenter for the rest of your career. This isn’t some boring old lecture; you're going to practice presenting, build your slides, polish your story, and walk out of here ready - and maybe even excited? - to get up in front of people and present!
What you’ll learn:
The "Uno Reverse" method for creating perfect slide decks
Stage fright combat techniques that will turn you from sweaty to suave
A sprinkle of "the ol' razzle dazzle" to take your presence from forgettable to magnetic
The one thing you must NEVER EVER do when presenting
Who it's for:
Founders who are getting ready to raise funding
Recently promoted executives who are taking on a more public-facing role as the voice of the company
Anyone who wants to be a better presenter for the rest of their career!
What to bring:
Your laptop (you'll be building slides during the workshop!) and a working version of your elevator pitch. Don't worry if it's rough - that's what we're here for.
What we’ll bring:
A room full of incredible women who are all here for the same reason: to feel confident in what they're presenting and how they're presenting it. Also, a light lunch will be served (sandwiches, chips, fruits and veggies, etc).
Spots are limited to 20 so everyone gets personal feedback. Grab yours before they're gone.
About the Host
Andrea Bridges-Smith spent over 15 years in marketing for tech companies before pivoting to the world of entertainment (multiple TV network executives have told her she’s had the best pitch decks they'd ever seen). As host of the Fenix News Network, she has a unique perspective on what to say and how to say it. When she’s not on camera, she helps founders & executives sharpen their stories, improve their slide decks, and feel confident onstage.
