Job Seeking Forum: Mr. 6 Foundation Volunteer Kickoff

​Mr. 6 Foundation is a Vancouver non-profit that explores two kinds of opportunity most people never see: jobs that are not local, and jobs that are opening because of AI.

​We connect local and international employers with local and international candidates, especially people the usual job market overlooks: no visa yet, "too senior", or not enough local experience.

​We are looking for volunteers to help connect people with the 5,000+ companies in our network. If you care about the job market and want more opportunities for yourself and others, this is for you.

​On October 3
• Hear what our partners in Vancouver, the San Francisco Bay Area and France are seeing
• See some of the companies we work with and where the opportunities are
• Meet the other volunteers and the team
• Every attendee receives a volunteering certificate for their time, online and offline

​Good to know: this first meetup is in person. You officially join Mr. 6 Foundation once you have attended an in-person event, because we want to get to know you.

​When: Saturday, October 3, 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
Where: 1st Floor Program Room, Burnaby Public Library (Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch), 6100 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby. A 3 minute walk from Metrotown SkyTrain Station.
