About Event

Join us at Floris Bar (Delirium Village) for the last 2026 event of The Terrible Comms Networkers with all your end-of-year spirit and resolutions for the Comms Buddies in 2027!

Can you believe we’re already at a handful of Terrible Comms Networkers events? It seems like just yesterday we were in February setting up the registration desk of the first event and nervously waiting for people to show up, and now we’re spreading the news of the last edition of this year!

We are very excited to invite and welcome all the Comms professionals in Brussels (and beyond!) to our usual evening of informal, no-strings-attached, don’t-bother-with-business-cards-because-LinkedIn exists networking event. This time, because it’s going to be November and the weather is unforgiving, we’ve partnered with Delirium and will be setting up shop at their Floris Bar space – that’s right, the one next to Janneke Pis (not to be confused with her tiny, peeing boyfriend down the street!).

Besides being sheltered and warm (yes, we care about your health and wellbeing), we’ll be able to enjoy:

  • Plenty of tables and chairs;

  • Our own private space;

  • Our own private bartender (everyone pays for their own drinks);

  • Our own playlist (at a polite volume so you can all talk to each other);

  • Our own private bathroom (but don’t worry – Marianna Tuokkola is still the designated monitor);

  • The possibility of bringing in our own food (although only until 20h30, and we count on everyone’s civic conscience to help us clean empty food boxes past that time. In any case, talk to Nickie Karousis for food tips nearby).

  • Using this moment to celebrate 2 years of Social Capital with us. ❤️🎂

And, of course – and most importantly – the opportunity to chat with amazing Comms professionals and make new connections (and maybe friendships?).

Ready to close the Comms networking year with an absolute bang? 😉

Who can join?

We don’t care if you work in the private, public, institutional, or non-profit sector; whether you are salaried or a freelancer; or what kind of sub-branch you do (design, marketing, policy Comms, media relations, etc.) – if you are a Communications professional, or simply find the world of comms interesting, this is your space and your tribe!

Stay as long as you want and talk about whatever you want.

You said you’re at your fifth event, but I’ve never heard of The Terrible Comms Networkers before. What’s this all about?

It started with a LinkedIn post. In January 2026, Ana Oliveira wrote something simple: she wanted to meet more communications professionals in Brussels. Over 200 people turned up to the first edition in February. By the time registration opened for Vol. 2 in April: the list filled just as fast. Ever since, be it at a park (June) or back in a covered space (September), each edition of The Terrible Comms Networkers counts with a solid crowd of faithful regulars and curious newcomers.

Definitely our highlight of 2026!

Is it worth it?

I mean, we are biased but... see for yourself on this video by Fabrizia Rispo! 🤩
