🚆 Getting There
For group commute options, please arrive at 7:25am at Central Station. You can take the T4 train, Platform 25 at 7:37am and get off at Waterfall Station at 8:36am. We’ll meet with the rest of the group at the Station and walk to the start point together.

Explore one of Royal National Park’s hidden gems on this hike to Palona Cave and Falls. Starting from Waterfall Station, the trail passes through lush palm forests, river crossings, and beautiful bushland before reaching the cave’s unique limestone formations and tranquil waterfall.
Expect some rocky and muddy sections, plus a steady climb on the return, making this a rewarding adventure through one of Sydney’s most underrated spots.

🚗 After the Hike
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transport back after the hike (e.g. train, Uber, carpool, or returning to their parked vehicle). Trains run every hour in Waterfall Station back to the city.
