🗣️ Storytelling Nite: Unexpected
Come one, come all! Whether you have a story to share or simply wish to listen, we'd love to welcome you for the inaugural storytelling nite. Doors open at 7pm, stories begin at 7:30pm.
This event's theme is all about the unexpected tides of life: your sister surprising you with her pregnancy, you uncharacteristically deciding you want mayo instead of mustard (and everything that came with that decision), the thunderstorm that got you good at the top of a mountain. Listen, share, love.
Free entry! Free tea served all evening.
Hosted in collaboration with local audio artist Mae Nagusky,.
Accessibility Note
While the apartment is on the first floor, after entering, there is one flight of stairs to get to the backyard, as well as a few steps into the actual yard. There will be chairs and cushions for seating.
What's The Tea Stand?
The Tea Stand is a community project which serves free tea at public parks, food distributions, and neighborhood events around Brooklyn / Lenapehoking.
